One of the first things people associate with
Paris is bistro - it's usually a small, informal, neighborhood restaurant
with simple food that every tourist should visit. On the typical to do list are usually also: salons
de thé, restaurants, ice cream shops, crêperies…(yummy!) But today we have something
totally different on the menue!
If you like panoramic views, amazing rooftops
and gorgeous sunsets, you’ll love this post!
- Le Perchoir
A panoramic roof terrace (a 360°view of Paris) situated
on 7th floor of a building invisible from the street. There is no
name above the doorway and no signs indicating the presence of the bar. This
tells this place is reserved only for Parisians (+ some really well informed
tourists like you!). The best thing is soaking up the Parisian atmosphere,
French in the air, wine on your lips, sunset on the move…
What to
know?
You cannot make the reservation and the line
gets to become pretty looong. So, if it’s Friday and obviously everybody knows it’s
going to be full - run to get there asap! :) We recommend you to go
there with group of friends. All the
tables are community tables; you’re sharing them with other people.
The perfect period to visit this bar in summer
is early evening (and to stay there at least until the sunset). If you come too
late, you’ll probably wait in the line or you won’t have a chance to get in.
This place is never empty. Once the place is full they'll let you in as soon as someone gets out - worth waiting for - believe us!
The prices are reasonable for Paris, for
example the glass of wine is starting from 6€, the bottle is from 29€,
cocktails are from 10€. On the 6th floor of the same
building you can find really cool restaurant. More info you can find here.
