Belgrade | Best free Wi-Fi cafés to sit & work

Almost all the coffee places in Belgrade have free Wi-Fi access but some are more suitable for bringing a laptop and working a bit during the day. Also, when choosing the right place we want to avoid that feeling of being unwanted with our laptop and papers all over the table. So yes, it's true cafés are not made for that purpose (this especially in Belgrade & Serbia, where coffee sipping culture and long talks have important tradition :D ), but sometimes the atmosphere in cafés is simply more motivating than in libraries, office, or at home. That's why we tried to find places where work can be done in peace and without feeling the urge to leave.

These links will take you to the best suited cafes in Belgrade for doing some work. All the things you need - free Wi-Fi, power outlets (!!!) & working atmosphere - are right there!

Kafeterija has three locations in Belgrade and one in Novi Sad. The one you need for your work to be done is near Studentski trg. There, you can also try the world famous kopi luwak coffeeIf you don’t know what type of coffee it is – we recommend you to go there, ask them to explain you and try it – hint: the process of production of the coffee beans involves digestion and defecation. ;)

We always choose this spot because it has big wooden table (perfect for working) and lots of cosy little spots perfect to put you laptop, charge your phone and get your work done while sipping (excellent!) coffee and eating muffins & croissants!

+ Address: Zmaja od Noćaja 13
+ Working hours: 7h - 23h
+ Wi-Fi: hoceskafu

Everybody loves this place! The staff is super kind, the atmosphere is amazing and coffee the best! Don't miss out on their macarons. It's tiny and cosy industrial interior design place in Dorćol area of Belgrade. Even though their tables and chairs are not particularly fit for sitting and working for hours, it can serve the purpose exceptionally (you'll get what I mean when you go there).

+ Address: Venizelosova 2 (Cara Dušana)
+ Working hours: 8h - 22h
+ Wi-Fi pass: barista.

Our absolutely favourite spot - we adore the decor! While working try limunana (lemonade + mint leaves) and homemade ice-tea if you still haven't

+ Address: Dositejeva 26
+ Working hours: 8:30h - 24h
+ Wi-Fi pass: 26dositejeva

If you are coming to this cute bistro in Vračar only to work avoid it during the lunch time (because it's always full in that period and the food is delicious + they make their own pasta)! Dokolica has inspiring atmosphere filled with smooth jazz, books and interesting quotes written on the walls. Especially from 10h - 13h this place is made for you and your work to be done.

+ Address: Kralja Milutina 1
+ Working hours: 9h - 23:30h
+ Wi-Fi pass: DOKOLICA

Omg, Jazzayoga was such a discovery! It's tiny little place in the middle of Bulevar - you would never think all the super tasty and healthy salads, cookies and the best smoothies in town are right there -  also, if you stay there after 12h you'll be able to taste their yummi soups. Even though it's tiny, it's really well thought off and decorated - on the upper floor (when it's not crowded) there is right enough space for your laptop or book.

+ Address: Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 48 (right across Tašmajdan park)
+ Working hours: 8h - 18:30h
+ Wi-Fi pass: uzdravomteluzdravduh

Behind the bar of Kozmetičar you can find whole new world of hard-working students sipping one of the best coffees in the town. Often filled with architecture students drawing their assignments and mingling, this place is screaming creativity and working atmosphere.

+ Address: Radoslava Grujića 25
+ Working hours: 8h - 10h
+ Wi-Fi pass: UvekSvezaKafa

There are several parts of the city where you can find them, wherever you go it'll be the same story. Apart from really feeling like sitting in a coffee factory, this place is great for finishing your work. Try our favourite coffee - Doppio Marrakech!

+ Working hours: 8h - 23h
+ Wi-Fi pass: coffefactory2

It is the most popular spot for students (from Faculties of Law, Architecture, etc) to come and revise before the test. On the ground floor where non-smoking area is there is not that much space and atmosphere for working. But, if you smoke the upper floor is heaven for you since it's ALWAYS full of cigarette smoke. The working atmosphere is on with loads of plugins and tables. Staff is not particularly kind. We put this place on the list even though it's not one of our favourite places simply for the fact it serves the purpose. You won't be mesmerised by the offer, but if you need smth finished asap, there it is.

+ Address: Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 80
+ Working hours: 9h - 23h
+ Wi-Fi pass: costacoffee

P.S. Majority of the places listed below are pretty vibrant during the late afternoon and evening but usually in the morning hours and early afternoon calm and perfect for the quiet working atmosphere.
